Privacy Policy

Last updated: September 19, 2026

This Privacy Policy explains how atria (“atria,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) collects, uses, stores, shares, and protects information when you use the atria mobile application and related services (the “App”).

By using the App, you agree to this Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, please do not use the App.

1. Who We Are

atria is an AI interior design app that helps users transform photos of their rooms, explore design styles, edit and refine results, organize work into projects, and visualize redesigned spaces—including 3D perspectives—before making real changes.

If you have questions about this Privacy Policy or your data, contact us at:

2. Scope

This Privacy Policy applies to:

  • the atria mobile application
  • related backend services used to operate the App
  • analytics, subscription, storage, and AI processing services used to provide App features

It does not apply to third-party websites, apps, or services that we do not control.

3. Information We Collect

We may collect the following categories of information:

3.1 Information You Provide

  • Photos and images you upload of rooms or spaces you want to redesign, including images from your camera or photo library
  • Design preferences and instructions you enter, such as style choices, edit requests (add, remove, replace, or modify elements), and other prompts used to guide transformations
  • Project information you create or save, such as project names and organized rooms or design variations
  • Onboarding answers and other preference or profile responses you select during setup
  • Support communications, if you contact us by email or another support channel

3.2 Information Collected Automatically

  • Anonymous account identifiers created so the App can operate securely without requiring a traditional email/password login
  • Device and usage information, such as app opens, feature usage, project/edit flows, errors, and general product interaction events
  • App version and technical diagnostics needed to keep the App working
  • Subscription and purchase status, including whether you have an active entitlement or subscription

3.3 Information We Do Not Intentionally Collect

We do not require you to create a traditional account with your name, email address, or phone number to use core App features.

However, photos you upload may incidentally contain personal information visible in the image (for example, faces of people in the room, documents, screens, or other details in the background). You control what you upload. Please avoid uploading content you do not want processed.

4. How We Use Your Information

We use the information we collect to:

  • provide App features, including AI room redesigns, image editing, style exploration, project saving, design variations, and 3D visualization
  • upload and process images so our AI systems can transform and refine them
  • generate AI-powered design outputs based on your uploads, style selections, and edit instructions
  • store and organize projects, rooms, and design versions so you can return and continue editing
  • manage subscriptions, purchases, restores, and entitlement checks
  • remember onboarding completion and basic local preferences on your device
  • measure product usage, improve features, fix bugs, and understand how the App is used
  • maintain security, prevent abuse, and operate our infrastructure
  • comply with legal obligations and enforce our terms

5. AI Processing

When you use certain features, images and related instructions may be processed by automated systems, including third-party AI providers, to generate redesigned rooms, edits, style transformations, variations, and related visualizations.

This processing may include:

  • analyzing a room photo to understand layout, furniture, and visible elements
  • generating redesigned versions of your space with new furniture, colors, layouts, or style treatments
  • applying edit instructions such as adding, removing, replacing, or modifying elements in the image
  • creating multiple design variations and supporting 3D or alternative-perspective views of a redesigned space

You should only upload images you are allowed to use and that you are comfortable submitting for automated analysis and transformation.

AI-generated designs are illustrative and may be imperfect. They should not be treated as professional architectural, structural, engineering, or interior design advice, or as a guarantee of any real-world outcome, cost, or buildability.

6. How We Share Information

We may share information with service providers that help us operate the App, including:

  • Cloud backend and storage providers, to store uploaded images, generated designs, and project data, and to run App backend functions
  • AI service providers, to analyze and transform uploaded images and generate design outputs
  • Analytics providers, to understand product usage and improve the App
  • Subscription and payment infrastructure providers, to manage in-app purchases and entitlements
  • App store platforms (Apple App Store / Google Play), which process payment transactions according to their own policies

We may also disclose information if required by law, legal process, or to protect the rights, safety, and integrity of atria, our users, or others.

We do not sell your personal information for money.

7. Third-Party Services

The App relies on third-party services that may process data on our behalf or under their own privacy policies, including:

  • Supabase — authentication, backend services, and image storage
  • xAI / AI processing providers — analysis and transformation of uploaded images and generation of design outputs
  • PostHog — product analytics and usage events
  • RevenueCat — subscription management and entitlement checks
  • Apple / Google — app distribution and in-app purchase processing

These providers process information according to their own privacy policies and terms. We encourage you to review them.

8. Permissions

Depending on your device and how you use the App, atria may request access to:

  • Photo library, to upload room photos for redesign and editing
  • Camera, if you choose to photograph a space within the App

You can deny or revoke these permissions in your device settings. Some features may not work without them.

9. Data Retention

We retain information only for as long as reasonably necessary to provide the App, operate our services, comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce our agreements.

In particular:

  • uploaded room photos and generated design images may be stored on our backend systems to enable analysis, editing, project history, and App functionality
  • project metadata and saved variations may be retained so you can reopen and continue your work
  • analytics events and subscription records may be retained according to our service providers’ retention practices and our operational needs
  • local preferences, such as onboarding completion status, may be stored on your device until cleared or the App is removed

We may delete or anonymize information when it is no longer needed.

10. Security

We take reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect information against unauthorized access, loss, misuse, or alteration. However, no method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

You are responsible for the content you choose to upload and for keeping your device secure.

11. Children’s Privacy

The App is not directed to children under 13 (or the minimum age required in your jurisdiction). We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, contact us and we will take appropriate steps to delete it.

12. International Data Transfers

Your information may be processed and stored in countries other than the one where you live, including countries where our service providers operate. Those countries may have different data protection laws than your own.

By using the App, you understand that your information may be transferred to and processed in such locations as needed to provide the service.

13. Your Rights and Choices

Depending on your location, you may have rights regarding your personal information, which may include the right to:

  • access the personal information we hold about you
  • request correction of inaccurate information
  • request deletion of your information
  • object to or restrict certain processing

You can also:

  • manage or cancel subscriptions through your Apple or Google account settings
  • uninstall the App to remove locally stored preferences on your device

14. California Privacy Notice (If Applicable)

If you are a California resident, you may have additional rights under the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA/CPRA), including rights to know, delete, and correct personal information, and to opt out of certain sharing that may be considered a “sale” or “sharing” under California law.

We do not sell personal information for monetary consideration. If you wish to make a privacy request, contact us at co.enruta@gmail.com

15. European / UK Privacy Notice (If Applicable)

If you are located in the European Economic Area, United Kingdom, or a similar jurisdiction, we process personal data based on one or more of the following legal grounds:

  • consent, where required (for example, for certain permissions or optional processing)
  • legal obligations, where applicable

You may have rights to access, rectify, erase, restrict, or port your data, and to lodge a complaint with your local supervisory authority.

16. In-App Purchases and Subscriptions

If you purchase a subscription or other paid feature:

  • payment is processed by Apple or Google, not directly by atria
  • we receive subscription/entitlement status through our subscription provider so we can unlock paid features
  • billing, refunds, and cancellation are generally governed by the applicable app store’s terms and policies

We do not receive your full payment card details.

17. Content You Upload

You are solely responsible for the images and text you submit. Do not upload:

  • content you do not have the right to use
  • illegal, harmful, abusive, or infringing content
  • private information belonging to others without appropriate permission

Uploaded content may be processed by automated systems and service providers as described in this Privacy Policy.

18. Changes to This Privacy Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will revise the “Last updated” date above. If changes are material, we may provide additional notice within the App or through other reasonable means.
